Dining at Mirmire Nepali Restaurant on Our Tasmanian Holiday

During our recent holiday in Tasmania, we discovered Mirmire Nepali Restaurant, a cosy spot offering authentic Nepali flavours. The warm ambiance and friendly service made it a perfect choice for a family meal during our getaway.

We couldn’t resist trying their famous Momo Platter, which featured an assortment of steamed dumplings paired with tangy dipping sauces. Each bite was bursting with flavour, a delightful reminder of Nepal’s rich culinary traditions. We also indulged in their spicy and bold Chilli Chicken, which added an exciting kick to our meal.

Another highlight was the Jhol Momo, where the momos were served in a fragrant, soupy broth. The combination of the dumplings with the rich, spiced gravy was comforting and absolutely delicious. It quickly became a favourite for us.

For the kids, we ordered their classic chicken nuggets with chips. While it wasn’t Nepali cuisine, it was a hit with them and kept everyone happy. To complement our meal, we sipped on creamy lassi, which provided the perfect sweet ending to our culinary adventure.

Dining at Mirmire Nepali Restaurant added a special touch to our Tasmanian holiday. If you’re ever in the area and looking to explore Nepali cuisine, this is a fantastic spot to try!

A Delightful Lunch Experience at Tia Tia Brisbane

We recently visited Tia Tia in Brisbane for a much-needed lunch, and it was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was bustling with energy, and the atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy. The place was clearly popular, and it’s no surprise why—everything from the decor to the food felt spot on.

The menu was extensive, and we found ourselves wanting to order almost everything! It was a tough choice, but after some deliberation, we settled for a few standout dishes. We started with the Char Kway Teow noodles, which were packed with flavor, smoky goodness, and perfectly cooked noodles. The Char Siu BBQ pork was another favorite, with tender, caramelized pieces of pork that were simply irresistible.

The crispy fried chicken was another winner—golden, crunchy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. But the true highlight of the meal was the bao bun with pork belly. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, with crispy edges and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The bao was soft and pillowy, making it the ideal vessel for such delicious fillings. It was a bite of pure joy!

The kids were thrilled with the food, and we left the restaurant feeling full, satisfied, and happy. The flavours were authentic, the portions generous, and the overall experience top-notch. It’s safe to say, Tia Tia is definitely a spot I’ll return to, and I can’t wait to explore more of their menu next time!

The place may be small, but it’s packed with charm and flavour. The menu was filled with delicious options, and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. From the perfectly marinated meats to the rich, authentic flavours, every bite was a treat.

What made our experience even better was how welcoming and accommodating the staff were, especially with kids. They made sure we felt at home, and our little ones enjoyed the food just as much as we did. It’s always a win when the whole family leaves happy and full!
