Locked Out but Grateful !!!

Yesterday after work, I had one of those moments – I locked my car key inside the car. Just when I thought the day was done and I was ready to head home, I found myself standing in the car park feeling helpless. Classic!

But here’s where the relief kicked in – I remembered I had NRMA insurance. Within 20 minutes, they arrived and had my car unlocked in no time. The wave of gratitude I felt was real. I honestly can’t explain the relief when I saw them pull up and handle it all so smoothly.

A big thank you to NRMA – not just for the quick service, but for turning a frustrating situation into a reminder of how important it is to be covered.

So here’s a little nudge from me to you: check your insurance. Make sure you’re covered for the unexpected. Because trust me, it happens to the best of us. And when it does, you’ll be glad you planned ahead.

Came home tired but thankful – and definitely a little more careful!

Merry Christmas 2024 🎄🎅🎁

From our family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas! May your holiday season be filled with love, laughter, and precious memories to cherish forever.🎄🎅🎁❤️

The magic of Christmas is in the air, and our neighbourhood is glowing with festive cheer! This year, the streets have come alive with twinkling lights, creative displays, and a heartwarming sense of community.

As we strolled through the neighbourhood, we were amazed by the effort and creativity everyone has put into their decorations. Houses are adorned with shimmering fairy lights, glowing reindeer, and Santa climbing chimneys. Some homes even have entire light shows synchronized to music, creating a magical experience for all who pass by.

One of my favourite displays features a life-sized nativity scene surrounded by sparkling lights, reminding us of the true spirit of Christmas. Another standout is a house with a candy-cane theme, complete with a giant inflatable snowman waving to everyone who stops to admire the view.

It’s heartwarming to see families, kids, and even pets walking around, soaking in the festive atmosphere. The lights not only brighten up the streets but also bring people together, spreading joy and laughter.

Glow Sydney 2024

Having two little ones means that I’m always on the lookout for ways to keep them entertained, especially during winter when it’s cold and the days are as short. Luckily, we stumbled upon something spectacular last weekend – Glow at Sydney Zoo!

We’ve been eyeing this event for a few years now, but it always sells out quick. This year, we were smart cookies and snagged our tickets early during the pre-sale.

Glow at Sydney Zoo is a dazzling light show featuring a light walk, Ferris wheel, Glowy Golf, Vortex Tunnel, and heaps more. Even though the evening was a bit wet, it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit.

Our adventure began at the GLOW Zone in the car park, where the kids had an absolute blast playing the free Glow Golf. Next up, the mind-bending Vortex Tunnel – fun and a bit scary, we even went through twice because the kids couldn’t get enough! Then, it was time for some bump car madness, which had us all in stitches.

We snapped some pics at the Glow sign and wings, then took a well-deserved break with some coffee and scrumptious donuts.

From there, we headed into the Glow Light Walk. We were mesmerised by the giant fiery centrepiece, Ignite, and immersed ourselves in the symphony of dancing lights with the captivating Water Walk.

Of course, we had to snap a pic with the iconic Glow sign.

Next, we dove into the enchanting depths of the Aquarium After-Dark experience and explored the world’s largest Reptile & Nocturnal House, encountering hundreds of fascinating critters.
Seeing the zoo after dark was a whole different experience.

Our grand finale was the light-up see-saw area, where the kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave.

All in all, we had an absolute blast of a time at Glow and I highly recommend it, especially for families with young kids.

Chhora Said !!!

Welcome to the debut of “Chhora Said”! Get ready to dive into the adorable and hilarious world of parenting a 4-year-old boy. They may be little, but trust me, they pack a punch when it comes to wit and love.

Let’s kick things off with a classic convo between me and my little man:

Me: “Hey, did you know I have two babies?”

Son: with a twinkle in his eye “Um, nope. You’ve got two big babies and one super big daddy.”

And just like that, he drops a truth bomb with the innocence only a 4-year-old can muster! Kids these days, I tell ya, they keep us on our toes with their unexpected wisdom and boundless charm. Stay tuned for more priceless moments from our little Chhora.
