While exploring Bruny Island, we stopped by the famous Bread Fridge β a quirky, self-serve roadside stall. It was stocked with freshly baked bread and homemade cookies. No shopkeeper, just an honesty box and the smell of fresh bakes!
We picked up a pack of ANZAC biscuits, and they were seriously delicious β golden, buttery, and full of flavour. It was quite busy when we arrived, but still such a wholesome and memorable stop on our trip.
What made it special was the simplicity and trust behind it β a true taste of small-town charm. Places like these make you slow down, appreciate the little things, and enjoy travel beyond the usual sights.
