One of my good friend is pregnant and we were planning a baby shower for her.
So on the day of the baby shower, I had this conversation with Chhori.
Me: โWe are going to N auntโs baby shower today, go get ready.โ
Chhori: “Are we showring the baby today? But where is the baby?โ
Me: โNo no we are just getting ready for the baby so we are going to celebrate and have a party for the mom and dad to be, the baby is still inside the tummy.โ
Chhori (sounding confused): “So who are we going to shower?โ
I never thought about it before but Chhori does make her own kind of sense. She takes everything literally and there was no baby to shower.
