Pole dancing , magic mike and whole new vocabulary šŸ˜Š

Hello everyone and a very happy 2018. I canā€™t believe that time is passing so fast.

I am back from my holiday and looking forward to another holiday soonĀ  šŸ™‚

As soon as we came back from holiday I went to the henā€™s night for one of my cousins and it was quite a night.

That Saturday evening, 10 gals glammed up to celebrate our dear cousion’s journey from Miss to Mrs. They are going to Nepal to celebrate their wedding but we planned her henā€™s night here as not all of us will go to Nepal for the wedding.

The night started with us gathering in the city and marching to a pole dancing studio where we were greeted with a glass of champagne.

This was my first experience with pole dancing so I didnā€™t know what to expect. We were all excited.

We were asked to change into sexy hot outfits. There were heaps of laughs and giggles as we tried to find the right outfit for us. I found this one piece black dress with beads and sequins.

Once everyone were ready, the instructor showed us a few easy steps and we followed her. It was really fun and not as hard as I had expected. We had so much fun but the highlight of the day was the instructorā€™s 5 minute performance for us. It felt like she didnā€™t have any bones on her body as she seemed to flow on the pole.

After the dancing, we caught a cab and went to the second venue where we were going to have dinner and watch a show. I didnā€™t know what to except for this event as well but we were all pleasantly surprised.

We were greeted by topless waiters (guys) with a glass of champagne and escorted to our tables. The venue was not very big with only 5 big tables including ours. Most of them seemed to be there for henā€™s night and there were only 2 males in the whole room apart from the waiters.

As we all sat down, entree was served and the show started with a strip tease. It was definitely a very new experience for most of us.

After a few shows, they offered body shot options for whoever dared. That was the first new word for us for the night šŸ˜„.

Body shot – Shot of tequila served with a topless waiter laying on the floor with salt on his body, shot glass on his mouth and lemon šŸ‹ slice on his mouth. Now I let you imagine how you drink the shot šŸ˜Š.

Later, they served a yummy dinner. I had salmon with veggies as more shows were performed.

Then we decided that the bride šŸ‘° needed to have a very expensive special desert.

Special desert – Icecream šŸ¦ covered all over the topless waiter and it is up to you as to how you eat them šŸ˜Š

Anyway, we had a great night and we stayed there until they closed at 11:30.

After the last shot and the last dance there, we moved to the nightclub upstairs and danced till dawn when everyone was tried and ready to crash on their bed.

Overall, it was a great way to start my new year. I hope all of your new year has begun with some excitement and fun like mine šŸ˜Š.

We went to Marina Bay in Singapore to watch the fireworks to welcome 2018. The fireworks was beautiful.Ā

Merry Christmas, we are off to Singapore!!!

Hello everyone,

Hope you guys are having a great Christmas Day and enjoying the holidays. In Sydney we are having a gloomy day but we are not complaining as we had so many hot days recently that is it a nice change.

Sun, Sea and Santa is the easiest way to describe our Christmas šŸ™‚

We are off to Singapore for our holiday and looking forward to having a fun time. I will see you all when we are back again in a week’s time.

Nepal Idol Live in Sydney 2017

We went to watch Nepal Idol Live in Sydney on Friday, 1 Dec 2017.

Nepal Idol 2017 is a Nepalese reality television singing competition that was a part of the Idols franchise created by Simon Fuller and owned by Fremantle Media. It aired on AP1 TV in Nepal.

Nepal Idol Live in Sydney featured live performances from the first ever Nepal Idol ā€œBuddha Lamaā€, Runner Up ā€œNishan Bhattaraiā€, Second Runner Up ā€œPratap Dasā€ along with ā€œPramila Raiā€ who was top 7.

After many years, Nepal Idol 2017 is the only Nepali show that we watched religiously on Saturday mornings on YouTube after it was telecasted in Nepal the day before. We started when it was top 12 and watched till the Finale.

So when one of our friends got us tickets to the show, we were so excited.

Initially, we were not sure if Chhori would be OK to be at the show so late so we were uncertain whether to take her. My SIL offered to baby sit Chhori if required but we decide to take her with us and it was the best decision.

I told Chhori that Pratap Das would sing ā€œMotorcycle maā€¦ā€ song, when we told her about the concert the day before so when we got there she kept asking me, from the time that we sat down, when was the song coming. She just loves the song and dances and sings along every time we play it on Youtube.

As it was Friday, we went straight after work so once we got there the first thing we did was to go and buy some momo and we enjoyed every bite of it. Chhori loved her momo too.

Then the show started. It opened with a Chilean group followed by a few local dance groups and then the main event.

For the first half of the show, Chhori was dancing along with every song. The people around us were watching her more than singers on the stage because she was showing off her moves even though she didnā€™t understand the songs.

 

On the stage the Nepal Idols came one after another and we enjoyed the show immensely. At around 9:30 – 10 pm, Chhori got tired and went to sleep. So AS took her and I went with my friend to the front of the stage to dance and enjoy the rest of the show.

Most of the songs in the second half were dance numbers so we danced along and enjoyed the songs.

I have to say that it was a great show apart for the fact they started a bit late and we finished at midnight. Out of all the performances, I became a fan of Pratap Das as he knew how to work the stage and interact with the audience. I am sure over time, the others will learn the skills too but vocal wise every one of them was brilliant.

Overall, it was a great night for us and I am so glad that Chhori was so good with the concert that I am excited to plan many more in the future.

Vivid Wireless Review and Vivid Wireless Referral Code 143388

This post is from my own experience as a customer hoping can help other people who are looking to change their internet provider. Although if someone does use my referral code it will benefit me as well.

When we went to Nepal last March we couldnā€™t believe that, in Kathmandu they had a lot better internet than what we were getting in Sydney. For developed city like Sydney, we were getting 3-5 mbps internet download speed on ADSL and that on good days.Ā  So when I read news saying that Sydney has one of the worst wired internets for a developed city I was not surprised at all.

We had been thinking about the changing our internet provider for a while but hadnā€™t got around to it. After we returned from Nepal we found our internet speed going downhill but it was still useable if barely. But for last couple of months the internet just went crazy with drop outs and speed slowing down to 1-2mbps. We talked to our provider but they couldnā€™t do much so we start to look for other options.

NBN is not going to come to our area for at least a year so we only had a choice between ADSL and wireless internet. ADSL was going to be the same whichever ISP we could go with.

So it came down to the wireless 4G internet for us and with it we could go for something with a potentially faster speed but with the data capped like OVO or Optus 100GB/$70 plans , or with unlimited data with the speed capped like Vivid Wireless. As we do a lot of streaming we chose the second option.

Although Vivid Wireless have both the limited data and unlimited data plans, for our address the only plan available was the unlimited data for $90/month with a maximum of 12 up 1 down Mbps speed. As it is not on a contract but month to month we planned to check it for a few months and change if we didnā€™t like it.

It look hubby less than 5 minutes to set it up and I haven’t had a single problem with it. So far we are happy to admit that we love it as we get 8-10 mbps. The service is great and reception is good too. It is great if you watch movies using Netflix or other streaming services. No stop and start and no drop outs. I think after having a bad internet connection for so long we were pleasantly surprised at how fast this felt.

We got our modem from the Good Guys and received second month free internet from Vivid Wireless (although I think if you get it from the Vivid Wireless website you will still get the free month). Hubby couldnā€™t wait for a few days shipping so decided to get it from TGG. We also used a referral code that we got from a friend which gave us another month free. I understand the credits will get applied after weā€™ve stayed with Vivid Wireless for more than 21 days. This nearly offsets the cost of the modem which was $199.
