While celebrating the Nepali new Year, I was dressed in traditional yellow kurta.
As I came out of my room I had this conversation with Chhori
Chhori : βYou look like a banana π mamaβ
Me: (not trying to laugh) βI am so hurt”Β (making a sad face)
Chhori: βI am sorry mama. I look like broccoli π₯¦ (looking at her green kurta)β
Me: (laughing) βI love broccoli π₯¦ “
Chhori: βand I love banana π and I love you mamaβ
She definitely has become quite cheeky and witty. I love our conversations and I love her so much. I want her to remain like this forever.
Take care ,

So cute
Thanks π
There is no end to kid’s imagination, ha ha π
With the kind of colorful costumes we wear in India and Nepal, no wonder kids relate us to tomato, carrot, broccoli and all π
Hahaha, but I never thought about this before she said it and now I canβt unsee πππ
You both are looking beautiful π
Thanks heaps π

I wanted mine to stay like that too but now their 6 and 8 and they continue to delight and surprise me. Parenting is like that, a mixture of grief and joy.
I am sure parenthood is never boring :). I am loving it.
