Hello from Kathmandu again and Happy New Year 2013.

Lots of things are happening in Kathmandu and I will update on them soon.  One good news this new year is that I am extending my stay  by another 2 weeks. 🙂

    This week I was with two French guests taking them to beautiful places like Pokhara for sunrise over the Himalaya, Sauraha for Elephant back safari, Namobuddha to see the young monks, besides sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley.

    Will be back to office tomorrow after a week. Wait to see you in Boudhnath!! Keep Enjoying your stay here M!!!

      I have extended my stay here so we are going to Pokhara next week. Please send me a list of places to see in Pokhara so I won’t miss any imporatant attractions.
      I hope to come to Boudhnath before I leave so hope to see you then.

      • Some places/activities to consider in the naturally beautiful city of Pokhara

        1) Boating in Fewa lake
        2) Sunrise/sunset view from Sarangkot (stay 1 night there)
        3) Visit Sadhana Yoga Retreat (3 days program is recommended)
        4) Devi’s Falls
        5) Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
        6) Tal Barahi Bhagawati
        7) Bindavashini Temple
        8) KI Singh Bridge to see the Seti River
        9) Paragliding from Sarangkot
        10) Have meal at Maili Didi’s Thakali Kitchen near Lakeside
        11) On the way, if you are driving, go see Bandipur

        These re only few. There are more exciting activities, I am sure. Ask other friends for recommendations. Have a very lovely time!!!
