I am currently looking for online reliable shops to buy some sarees. If anyone has used a website that they liked, please let me know. I know there are many websites but I am not sure if they are reliable and not too expensive :). I am hoping to buy sarees and lengha 🙂
Thanks for help in advanced.
Have a great weekend everyone 🙂

Thank you everyone for the help 🙂
Hi, i would like to add on a little more detail to my cousin @questorm’s previous post. http://www.hakupatasi.com even provides its customers with the inskirt material and the blouse pieces ( along with stitching services for both upon request). What makes this website different from other online ethnic clothing websites is that all of our products are custom made unlike the readymade ones we find at most of the e-retailers.
My cousin started her own business few months back for custom made ethnic wear.

You can check out their collection and inquire for your own choice of material and design too.
For the same cousin’s marriage, most of my family members made their dress(saree/lehenga/kurta) through her site with her consultation. 🙂
A friend of mine is in India right now to buy sarees for her soon to be opened shop, I can arrange for you to look at her collection once you’re here or can ask her to send you pics if you’re interested. She’ll be back this Friday.
Thank you so much for the offer. When she has time, it will be great to look at the collection. Please ask her to send me some pics. Thanks a heaps.
Try perniaspopupshop.com. Beautiful saarees and lehengas. Bit expensive but the best quality. I bought a sabyasachi saree last year and it was so beautiful. Totally worth it.
I never bought a saree online, but I heard very good reviews about http://www.utsavfashion.com/. They seem to have a great variety of options, and the website is very easy to navigate.
i recently bought some saris from http://www.indianweddingsaree.com/
they have great customer service, free shipping.. n lots of selection..
My fav is biba. http://Www.bibaindia.com Good luck!
Never had luck buying ethnic wear online. We have folks back home & we rely on them. Even rush mail turns out to be a cheaper option than online. My wife usually gets few pics & she’d IM back the ones she likes & we get our shipment in few days
Hello, I bought a saree n two kurta shalwars from Utsav fashion a year ago. Range of sarees n very good price. They do the custom tailoring as well so make sure all the measurement is correct to avoid any fitting issues. They even call u or let u know if they have any doubt on ur selected design or given measurements. Totally recommended :)) and also on time delivery. Check – utsav fashion australia
I don’t know about online shops. But as you’re going to Nepal soon, I suggest you check out Vandana Sarees at bagbazaar. They have some awesome pieces. I’d send you a pic of a different style if I could message you somehow.
If you can, please email me on nepaliaustralian.blog@gmail.com. I will be great help.
Thanks heaps 🙂
